Job Description – Digital Business Tool Developer
The Digital Business Tool Developer will primarily focus on advancing our digital tool set that supports the hot runner and controller business unit. This includes CPQ (Configure - Price – Quote) (Tacton) development and maintenance, Power BI queries, CRM tool integration, proprietary systems integration as well as using the latest AI technologies to advance the overall structure of our digital business eco system. In this role, you will work closely with digital tool users, sales, pricing managers, product management, and the IT team. Example responsibilities include product configuration, price modeling, quotation output generation, new tool installation, CPQ administration and helping to advance the overall digital ecosystem. This role also includes developing and maintaining queries to provide strategic data to our management. This role is located at our European headquarters in Dudelange, Luxembourg.
Responsibilities
- General management and development of digital tools that support the growth of the business including developing new advanced tools and overall integration with other business systems.
- Full CPQ development including tool enhancements, new product integration, bug fixes, upgrade rollouts, CRM integration, product configuration logic builds, product models/programmed logic and pricing and applications (data model, workflow, approvals, data governance, UI).
- Develop and maintain Power BI queries.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to supervisors and upper management.
- Create documentation such as work instructions.
- Work closely with external digital tool partners/experts.
Qualifications:
- Developer experience:
- Experience with constraint-based platforms is a strong asset (such as Tacton).
- SQL knowledge.
- VBA knowledge.
- Knowledge in integrations and proficient with APIs, particularly those written in JSON, XML, and other common formats such as JavaScript.
- AI utilization for advancement and best practice implementations.
- Knowledge of any other programming language is an asset.
- Familiar with the AGIL methodology (Agile, Lean, Iterative, and Learning)
- Creativity is a must – applying creativity to complex solutions.
- Good analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Injection molding processes and equipment including Hot Runner and controller products is an asset.
- Interest in IT and business software, such as CPQ, ERP, CRM, PLM/PDM.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills:
- Ability to explain how to best utilize the solutions.
- Desire to learn, improve, and drive change.
- Financial knowledge and insight.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, Project, and Visio.
- Strong project, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Ability to explain how to best utilize the solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in software development is an asset.
- Ability to understand and realize customer requirements and turn them into creative solutions.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are an asset.
