Showing What’s Possible: Marti Kellough’s 42-Year Journey of Leadership, Longevity and Impact
At Husky Technologies™, some careers are shaped through continuous learning and evolving responsibilities, while others are built on long-term commitment and deep expertise. Marti Kellough’s journey brings both together, offering a powerful example of what long-term growth, adaptability and leadership can look like in a global manufacturing environment.
As Marti approaches 42 years with Husky, she stands as one of the longest-serving female team members in the company’s history. Her story is not just about tenure, but about representation, consistency and the quiet influence of women in non-traditional industries.
“I didn’t set out to become one of the longest-serving women at Husky,” Marti reflects. “I just kept showing up.”
And in doing so, she helped shape what leadership looks like over time.
A Career Built on Curiosity and Opportunity
Marti joined Husky in 1984 after applying for a role in what was then called Personnel. She was looking for a place to learn, contribute and grow. What she found was an environment that allowed her to evolve in the company itself.
Over the years, Marti moved through Human Resources, Sales and Marketing, Customer Relations, Executive Support and now Business Development. Each role opened new doors, expanded her perspective and allowed her to build strong relationships across the organization.
“I became the person people could count on,” she recalls. “Each chapter taught me something new.”
Her path reflects what is possible when curiosity meets opportunity and individuals actively shape their careers over time.

Women in Manufacturing: Visibility, Progress, and Momentum
According to Husky’s 2024 ESG Report, women today represent a increasing percentage of Husky’s global workforce, contributing across leadership as well as various functions, regions and roles. Across the global manufacturing sector, women account for nearly one-third of the workforce, contributing across STEM disciplines as the industry continues to evolve, creating more opportunities for women at all levels, including leadership.
At Husky, women are represented across technical, commercial and support functions worldwide, reflecting a growing ecosystem of talent and expertise. Long-term careers like Marti’s highlight how loyalty, knowledge-sharing and experience play a critical role in building strong teams over time.
For Marti, this context makes her journey especially meaningful.
“When I started, there were fewer women around me,” she says. “But the women I worked with supported one another, learned together and built strong connections.”
Over time, Marti became a visible and trusted presence within the organization, showing that long-term careers in manufacturing can be built through collaboration, adaptability and consistency. Her experience highlights how representation grows through long-term engagement, shared learning and meaningful contribution.
“If my journey makes things a little easier for the women who follow, that means a lot to me.”
More Than a Career: A Community
When asked what kept her at Husky for more than four decades, Marti’s answer is immediate.
“The people,” she says. “Always the people.”
She speaks warmly about mentors, colleagues and teams that felt more like family than coworkers. Those relationships, built over time, became the foundation of her career and her connection to the company.
“Husky became a second home,” she reflects. “And every chapter brought new people, new energy and new reasons to stay.”

Lessons That Last
Marti’s journey highlights the lasting value of loyalty at a time when long-term careers within one company are becoming increasingly rare. Her path shows that it is still possible to build a meaningful, unconventional career by growing within a single organization, making a sustained impact over time, and helping shape its history along the way.
“Give yourself time,” she advises. “Ask questions, stay curious and be open to opportunities you didn’t plan for.”
Her story reminds us that growth does not always mean moving on. Sometimes, it means moving forward, again and again, in the same place, with purpose.
Looking Ahead with Pride
Marti’s story is not just a reflection on the past. It is a celebration of what is possible when people are supported, trusted and encouraged to grow.
Leadership, representation and impact do not always come with senior level titles. Sometimes they come through presence, consistency and a willingness to keep showing up with dedication and purpose.
At Husky, we are proud to celebrate Marti Kellough and the many women who continue to shape our culture, our teams and our future.
