Job Descriiption
In this role you will be responsible for the preventive and curative maintenance of building equipment and systems. You will plan and executes maintenance/repair/improvement activities to ensure Husky facilities remain showcases demonstrating the company’s high-quality standards and attention to detail. You will perform building repairs and modifications.
Responsibilities
- Continually monitors housekeeping and facility asset condition
- Documents all maintenance activities
- Audits building cleanliness and acts to eliminate deficiencies
- Performs the following: Electrical repairs, Mechanical repairs, HVAC repairs, Furniture condition auditing and repair, Conference room condition auditing and general maintenance and repair, and minor domestic plumbing repairs
Qualifications
- Technical education or apprenticeship program in the field of electricity or equivalent experience
- Electrical habilitation (BT-H/V) (Q) is an advantage
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
- Possesses well-developed troubleshooting abilities
- Has a good understanding of HVAC technologies
- Is detail oriented
- Has polished communication and interpersonal skills
- Is able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Has elevated quality standards
- Demonstrates a “hands-on”, “get it done” approach
- Is able to easily build positive working relationships with other teams
- Good MS Excel skills and used to work with other MS office applications
- Having experience in Facility maintenance would be an asset
- Fluent in English, German and French
This role is a temporary assignment for 6 months.
