John Galt

John Galt has been a member of Husky’s Operating Council in the role of Chairman since October 2024. Originally joining Husky in 1985, Mr. Galt held a variety of progressive global positions throughout his time with the company, most recently as President and CEO from 2005 to 2024. Under his leadership, he established Husky as a global industrial leader committed to innovation and sustainability. His other previous positions include Vice President, Operations and COO, prior to which he was Vice President, Engineering. Mr. Galt holds a mechanical engineering degree from Ryerson Polytechnical University.
