The Husky Continuous Improvement Director is globally responsible for the overall continuous improvement approach for Husky, inclusive of policy formations, training, and execution. The role functions independently working for the Global Quality and Continuous Improvement Director inside of the Global Operations organization. Regular/frequent global travel is required.

Formalize and deploy a new Global Husky production system with associated tools that attacks waste via lean methodologies and process improvement plans. Role is to cover all Husky global operations.

Organize and refine CI training materials; establish training calendar meeting the organization’s needs.

Develop and maintain Husky CI data and training repository and associated Web Site; define program branding and images

Prepare and lead monthly and annual CI report outs with executive leadership.

Establish savings tracking and forecasting methodology and reports to meet yearly CI commitments.

Work the Business unit GM’s and their functional leaders, to develop their own CI organizations and leadership, driving an expectation of self-sufficiency aligned with the Husky Global CI vision and policies.

Actively lead key CI initiatives on at least a quarterly basis in high impact areas focusing on process improvements and waste elimination.

Establish lean methodologies pertinent to functional departmental missions.

Work with Business units to define future state transformations and develop associated tactical plans for such

Establish a customer feedback methodology for internal and external customers; set associated improvement targets and plans.

Assist in root cause methodologies for critical customer situations as directed by functional leadership.

Understand, recommend and implement digital tools working with Husky IT to improve data capture/analysis to enhance problem resolution and process efficiency.
