As a member of the Product Support Specialist team, you will be responsible for resolving after-sale Husky Hot Runner inquiries and issues through a combination of support by phone, e-mail and customers visits. In this role you will be challenged to drive resolutions and to make decisions based on complex situations.

Responsibilities

  • Working with a cross functional team (including field service and internal manufacturing/ engineering resources) to identify root cause of the issue and apply containment or solution for the customer in the fastest time possible
  • Ensure containments and issues are well documented and searchable by other Specialists and Call Centre
  • Ensure knowledge of the issue is transferred to the rest of the team and Product development.
  • Identify patterns of failures and raise awareness
  • Providing knowledge and expertise in support to the Service, Sales and Call Centre organization
  • Communicating effectively in both written and verbal form to customers and within Husky
  • Analyzing and reporting potential product problems and recommend improvements
  • Recommending preventative maintenance for Husky Hot Runner
  • Recommending Husky Hot Runner Product quality improvements
  • Analyzing and reporting customers site findings
  • Assisting with preparation of manuals
  • Supporting Research and Development activities
  • Support new product launch
  • Travel required, approx. 10-20%

Qualifications

  • Work experience in an injection molding environment
  • Expert troubleshooting / ability to root cause
  • Good time management
  • Knowledge of Husky products and tools
  • Good knowledge of all MS office applications
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • In depth knowledge of Injection Molding Machine
  • Must be able to speak and write in English
  • Ability to also speak Portuguese and Spanish preferred.
  • Candidate will be office based out of Husky facility in Jundiai, Sao Paolo, Brazil
