Steve Lawrynuik Appointed Vice President, Customer Support
BOLTON, Ontario - Husky Injection Molding Systems today announced the appointment of Steve Lawrynuik to the position of Vice President, Customer Support. Mr. Lawrynuik will be responsible for customer support worldwide and will join Husky's executive team.
“Our objective is to deliver outstanding support to our customers every time they work with us,” said John Galt, Husky’s President and CEO. “Steve’s past experience, his ability to drive change and his deep understanding of customer needs, will allow us to achieve our goal of building the industry’s best customer support network.”
In September 2010, Husky announced a number of investments in its customer support network, including additional field service and call center representatives. In addition, the company continues to invest in local manufacturing capabilities, with recent expansions in Moscow, Yokohama and Shanghai, along with a new facility in Chennai, India that is scheduled to open in 2011.
Mr. Lawrynuik has been with Husky since 1986, having held a number of management positions throughout the company’s operations. Most recently, he led Husky’s business transformation activities, which resulted in significant improvements in the company’s overall efficiency and effectiveness. Mr. Lawrynuik holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
