    • Husky to introduce new H-MED AE medical system at K2010

      BOLTON, Ontario - Husky Injection Molding Systems today announced that it will be introducing H-MED™ AE (all-electric), a new medical injection molding system at the upcoming K2010 tradeshow in Dusseldorf, Germany, October 27 – November 3, 2010.

      “We are leveraging our application knowledge in hot runners and controllers to grow our presence in the medical market,” said John Galt, Husky’s President and CEO. “H-MED AE is a completely integrated, cleanroom compatible, all-electric system that will offer the speed, quality and control demanded by medical customers, as well as the precision and repeatability they need.”

      The H-MED AE system will complement Husky’s leading product line that is based on the Hylectric® platform, including HyPET™, HyCAP™ and HyPAC™. It will offer the same level of quality and high performance, but in a smaller size. As with all Husky systems, all functions within the workcell will be managed by Polaris™ Control, the company’s PC-based controls, centralizing operation of the entire injection molding system. When launched, this new product will be supported with the same level of after-sales support that customers expect from Husky.

      The H-MED AE system will be running in Husky’s booth at K2010, Hall 13, Stand A59.
