    • Husky now offers high cavitation PRONTO hot runners

      For release 2007-10-24

DÜSSELDORF, Germany – Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. today announced that it has extended its PRONTO line to include high cavitation hot runners. These fully configurable, complete hot halves with plates, which until recently were only available as single, 2-, 4- and 8-drop systems, are now also offered as 12- to 96-drop systems.

“After selling thousands of low cavitation PRONTO hot runners, we can now offer customers with high cavitation system the benefits of rapid delivery of fully configurable complete hot halves at a reduced cost,” said Keith Carlton, Husky’s Vice President, Hot Runners and PET Molds.

High cavitation PRONTO hot runners are ideal for closure applications and feature the short lead times and reduced costs associated with traditional PRONTO hot runners, without compromising quality or performance.

Design information and drop layouts are available on-line, at www.hotrunners.com, or in Husky’s hot runner catalogue, allowing customers to coordinate the integration of their PRONTO hot runner at the design stage of a project. PRONTO provides flexibility in terms of plate sizes, drop locations and nozzle lengths.

PRONTO delivers fully optimized hot runners with application review and melt channel sizing analysis performed for each specific application. A wide variety of thermal gating options are  available with the Ultra 500 and Ultra 750 nozzles sizes. As with all PRONTO systems, the high cavitation PRONTO includes a three-year leakproof guarantee for complete hot halves with plates.
