Husky names Gerardo Chiaia President, Asia

BOLTON, Ontario -- Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd, a world leader in the injection molding industry, today has named Gerardo Chiaia President, Asia and has appointed him to the Company's executive team. In this capacity, Mr. Chiaia will assume responsibility for Husky's growing business in this critical region. He succeeds Marcus Sutch, who is leaving the Company.

Mr. Chiaia has had an accomplished career over the past 13 years at Husky. He has held positions of increasing responsibility in the Company's European service, sales and manufacturing operations. Most recently he served as General Manager, Hot Runners and Molds, based at Husky's Luxembourg campus. Mr. Chiaia holds a Masters in Engineering and Automation from Metz University (France) and an MBA from Sacred Heart University (Luxembourg).
