DUDELANGE, Luxembourg -- Husky Injection Molding Systems continues its growth in Central and Eastern Europe with the recent opening of a new sales office in Istanbul, Turkey.
"Establishing a stronger presence in Istanbul is the next logical step in Husky's expansion in this region," said Milan Cvjetkovic, Husky's Vice President of Central and Eastern Europe. "Turkey's overall economic growth continues to be solid, and within the plastics industry there are many new processors who require the one-source solutions offered by Husky. While we have been providing exceptional service support here for several years, we are now able to offer even greater levels of sales support through the new office."
Husky recently opened a new sales office in Vienna to better serve Central European customers, and the company is also evaluating a number of additional office locations to bring Husky closer to its existing and prospective customer base in the region.
"The Istanbul office allows us to increase Husky's overall presence in markets beyond beverage packaging," said Christian Kapsamer, Husky's General Manager of Central and Eastern Europe.
"We have experienced people who understand the injection molding industry, the local market and speak the local language," added Mustafa Öztürk, Husky's Area Manager, Turkey. "Opening a new sales office in Turkey will bring us closer to the market and improve our customer support with better logistics and faster reaction time."
