Toronto, Ontario — Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. It is expected that Mr. Galt's appointment will be made later this year.
"John has had a very successful career at Husky," said Mr. Schad. "His strong leadership, professionalism and passion for quality, cost efficiency and best practices have had a major impact on our operations. At the same time, John is a strong believer in our culture and values, and he is well respected within the company and in our industry. I am convinced that John is the right person to lead the change that is necessary to take Husky to the next level. I have complete confidence in John taking over."
"Husky is at an exciting point in its development," said Robert Gillespie, Chairman of Husky's Board of Directors. "We have the opportunity to build on the strengths and solid foundation established by Robert Schad as President and CEO. Over the years, we have had the opportunity to get to know John in various roles. His track record, and his deep knowledge of Husky's products, customers and global markets, made him an excellent and unanimous choice to lead the company."
